The Best in Heritage
Dubrovnik, Croatia, 22 – 24 September 2006
Europa Nostra lent its patronage to “The Best in Heritage” since it was first launched in 2002. As in previous years, several winners of the European Union Prize for Cultural Heritage / Europa Nostra Awards were selected by “The Best in Heritage” to present their innovative ways of restoration and presentation of cultural heritage, together with the laureates of other European (museum) award schemes. The objective of this annual vent is to learn by example and direct personal contact. Also this year, Europa Nostra was represented by one of its Vice-Presidents, John Sell. The Best in Heritage will also be present with an “Excellence Club” at the annual Exponatec Fair in Cologne in November 2007.
