Exponatec Cologne 2019

The 9th edition of Exponatec Cologne, Europe’s leading communication platform for the museum, conservation and restoration sectors, took place from 20-22 November in Cologne, Germany. Europa Nostra is among the main partners of Exponatec, together with The Best in Heritage and the German Museums Association.

The 2019 edition of Exponatec featured a series of presentations, lectures and exhibition areas revolving around cultural heritage related topics. Video presentations about the most innovative and inspiring projects in the cultural heritage field from around the world, including many winners of the European Heritage Awards / Europa Nostra Awards, were broadcasted during the event.

Exponatec Cologne 2019 linked the classic core segments of the museum, conservation and restoration sectors with future-oriented trends, such as virtual reality, 3D staging and new digital developments. Throughout the four exhibition areas, institutions and companies from all relevant segments of the culture market showed new products, solutions and concepts revolving around exhibiting, restoration and cultural heritage and thereby provide groundbreaking impulses.
