JOIN EUROPA NOSTRA

Europa Nostra is a non-profit organisation, which is financially supported by membership fees and donations of its collective and individual members, by the European Commission and other public bodies, and by private sponsors.

You can support Europa Nostra by becoming a member. Europa Nostra's categories of membership are described below. To become a member, print out the application form, fill it out and send it to the International Secretariat in The Hague.

Member Organisation

Any non-profit-making non-governmental organisation may apply for membership, provided that its objectives include the aims of Europa Nostra, wholly or in part (see list of member organisations). The application is submitted to the Council for approval.

Associate Organisation

These are private or public entities/bodies, which support the aims and activities of Europa Nostra but do not meet the conditions for becoming a member organisation. They are public authorities (national, regional or local), educational institutions, corporate businesses etc (see list of Associate Organisations). Associate Organisations are invited to take part in Europa Nostra activities, including the General Assembly (without voting rights).

Corporate Member

Large businesses wishing to associate their name with Europa Nostra's aims and activities can become a Corporate Member (a sub-category of Associate Organisation). Europa Nostra acknowledges their support in its Annual Report and on its Website. Interesting sponsoring opportunities with more exposure exist for specific projects, programmes and activities.

Individual Member

Individual citizens interested in and committed to heritage matters and adhering to Europa Nostra's aims form a special group within the Europa Nostra membership. They may take part and vote at the General Assembly, participate in the Heritage Tours and public events and are kept regularly informed on heritage matters through Europa Nostra's publications.
