Top Prize "For the outstanding conservation and presentation of the lifetime work of an esteemed photographer and his former studio and home, that offers a unique insight into Liverpool and its people in the mid 20th century."
A ceremony organised by the National Trust in honour of the Edward Chambré Hardman Photographic Collection ( United Kingdom ) took place in the Western Rooms at Liverpool Cathedral. The award was presented to Mr Simon Murray, Director of Operations for The National Trust. Europa Nostra was represented by its Honorary President, Sir Christopher Audland KCMG, as well as by Mr Michael Thomas, Member of the Jury.
