EUROPA NOSTRA, the pan-European Federation for Cultural Heritage, brings together, represents and provides service to more than 250 Heritage NGOs from 40 European countries.

The European Union Prize for Cultural Heritage / Europa Nostra Awards were launched jointly by the European Commission and Europa Nostra, the pan-European Federation for Cultural Heritage, as part of the implementation of the Culture Programme, to celebrate exemplary initiatives in the many facets of Europe 's cultural heritage. The Prize is being organised from the International Secretariat of Europa Nostra in The Hague.
