Dr Kopplin is an Art Historian by training and currently Director of the Museum für Lackkunst (Lacquerware Museum) in Münster. She has great experience in museum curacy, namely the maintenance and systematic creation of an internationally renowned collection, research and defining the exhibition programme. She has researched and published extensively on a vast array of subjects relating to painting, drawing and lacquerware in Europe, East Asia and South-East Asia.
