Dr Mallachou-Tufano has been involved since 1976 in the conservation and restoration of the Acropolis Monuments within the Acropolis Restoration Service (YSMA). She is currently Head of the Documentation Office at the Acropolis Restoration Service. She teaches “Historic Preservation” at the University of Athens. She has widely researched and published various articles on archaeological restoration, but also on the history of medieval and Ottoman monuments in Greece.
