There are direct flights to Newcastle Airport from many European cities but why not consider the greener alternatives - ferries from Scandinavia and the Netherlands or Eurostar and high-speed train with an easy connection in London.

During the Congress, most venues are within or close to the city centre and are easy to reach on foot. However, transport to some of the events, including the Festive Dinnere and to Durham Cathedral for the European Heritage Awards Ceremony will be provided from the Copthorne Newcastle. Public transport and taxis are widely available.
