Helena Vaz da Silva Award Ceremony 2021, 8 November (19:00-20:30 CET)

Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker, a leading European personality in contemporary dance from Belgium, who is the founder of the dance company Rosas, will receive the Helena Vaz da Silva European Award for Raising Public Awareness on Cultural Heritage 2021 at a ceremony on 8 November 2021 at the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation in Lisbon. This high European recognition pays tribute to Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker’s exceptional art of communicating European culture and values through dance.

The Helena Vaz da Silva European Award was established in 2013 by Europa Nostra and its representation in Portugal, Centro Nacional de Cultura (CNC), in cooperation with the Portuguese Press Club. The Award has the support of the Portuguese Ministry of Culture, the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation and Turismo de Portugal.

The Helena Vaz da Silva European Award Ceremony 2021 will be livestreamed (in Portuguese) via the CNC YouTube channel.
