The Work Package 6, entitled Communication and Dissemination, covers and supports all activities of the network project Europa Nostra Heritage Agora (2025-2028). An appealing visual identity for the Agora project has been developed and incorporated into the project’s promotional outcomes. With the aim of giving high visibility to and maximising the impact of the project’s activities and results, a wide set of communication and dissemination activities have been undertaken, targeting our network, but also non-members of our network, media professionals and the general public.

Online and social media campaigns

The Europa Nostra website and the Agora online platform have been developed and regularly updated. The Europa Nostra social media channels – LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, X and Bluesky – have been extensively used. Digital newsletters and special announcements have been prepared and widely disseminated.

Media campaigns

Media campaigns have been developed and implemented, including the preparation and dissemination of media releases in various European languages, the organisation of media conferences/briefings and the setting up of joint ventures with media outlets. News articles and interviews on key advocacy topics have been prepared and published in leading national and European media.

Promotional campaigns

A variety of promotional assets, such as (digital) booklets, banners, photo albums, videos and podcasts, have been produced and disseminated.

The expected outcome of this Work Package is to demonstrate that cultural heritage acts as a catalyst for sustainable development, green transformation and economic prosperity; cultural heritage strengthens citizenship, democracy and wellbeing; and cultural heritage fosters dialogue and exchange between citizens and their communities – within and outside Europe.
