The online event will also feature contributions from representatives of the organisations that nominated the 7 listed sites, which were selected among 14 heritage sites previously shortlisted. Sneška Quaedvlieg-Mihailović, Secretary General of Europa Nostra, will moderate the discussion.

The 7 Most Endangered Programme is a civil society initiative dedicated to safeguarding Europe’s endangered heritage. It raises awareness, prepares independent assessments, and proposes recommendations for action. Each listed site receives an EIB Heritage Grant of €10,000 to assist in implementing an agreed activity that will contribute to its preservation. Since its launch in 2013, the programme has identified 63 threatened monuments and heritage sites (from castles to bridges, factories and churches) from 31 countries across Europe.

The 7 finalists are selected by the Board of Europa Nostra from among the monuments and heritage sites previously shortlisted by the Advisory Panel of the 7 Most Endangered Programme. The nominations are made or endorsed by members of Europa Nostra as well as by members of the European Heritage Alliance.

This innovative programme is run by Europa Nostra in partnership with the European Investment Bank Institute. It also has the support of the Creative Europe programme of the European Union, through the network project Europa Nostra Heritage Agora.

Join us on 18 March to find out which heritage sites in Europe have been selected for the 2025 List of 7 Most Endangered!
