The 7 Most Endangered 2016: nominate a heritage site by July 2015

All over Europe monuments and heritage sites are in danger. Some due to lack of resources or expertise, others due to neglect or inadequate planning. To find a sustainable future for these important sites, the leading heritage organisation Europa Nostra teamed up with the European Investment Bank Institute and launched, in 2013, The 7 Most Endangered programme.

The 7 Most Endangered programme helps threatened European monuments and sites by mobilizing communities together with public and private partners and by generating creative ideas and sustainable solutions. The aim: to use cultural heritage as generator for positive change.

If you know of important heritage that is endangered – such as an historic monument or archaeological site, a place of worship, an industrial complex, a historic park, a museum or a movable heritage asset – nominate it for The 7 Most Endangered 2016.

You can nominate a site with the support of your local Europa Nostra’s member organisation. See how you can nominate a site here and get involved.

The deadline for nominations has been extended to 31 July 2015.
