“Das Europäische Kulturerbejahr war eine großartige Erfahrung unserer Zusammenarbeit. Wir haben viel bewegt und es hat uns bewegt! Sehr gerne erinnere ich mich an den European Heritage Summit im Juni 2018 in Berlin und den daraus resultierenden Berlin Call to Action. Was wir an Vernetzung auf regionaler und nationaler sowie europäischer Ebene aufgebaut haben und wie das Europäische Kulturerbejahr in die Gesellschaft hineingewirkt hat, daran kann und muss gut weitergearbeitet werden. Insofern war das Europäische Kulturerbejahr ein wunderbarer Auftakt für weiteres gemeinsames Engagement für all das, was uns kulturell und geschichtlich in Europa verbindet und was wir an die jungen Generationen weitergeben können.”

I very often remember the European Cultural Heritage Summit in June 2018 in Berlin and the resulting Berlin Call to Action. The network that we have built up at regional, national and at European level and the way that the European Year of Cultural Heritage has had an impact on society can and should be further developed In this respect, the European Year of Cultural Heritage was a wonderful prelude to further common commitment to everything that connects us culturally and historically in Europe as well as that which we will pass on to the next generation”.
