Europa Nostra President’s Circle to meet in London

The next President’s Circle gathering will take place in London on 20-21 April. The first day’s programme includes a private visit to the Royal Institution and the opportunity to join a guided walk in the St. James district. The highlight of the event will be the performance of Giuseppe Verdi’s opera ‘Nabucco’, with Plácido Domingo in the title role, at the Royal Opera House that evening. The Europa Nostra’ President will afterwards host a dinner for all the members of this exclusive group of Europa Nostra’s major benefactors plus a number of specially invited guests at the Savoy Hotel. On the second day, there will be a visit to Leighton House, a 2012 winner of an European Union Prize for Cultural Heritage/Europa Nostra Award in the ‘Conservation’ category.

The President’s Circle was established with the aim of bringing together Europa Nostra’s largest benefactors who are kindly and generously willing to contribute to the efforts led by Maestro Domingo and the Europa Nostra Board to raise funds for our organisation in order to match the increased level of our ambition.

If you would like to know more about the President’s Circle and the conditions to join it, please contact our Secretary General, Sneška Quaedvlieg-Mihailović (sqm@europanostra.org).
