Annual Policy Conversation – A Cultural Deal for Europe: Make culture central in the EU’s green and sustainable future, 18 November

Culture Action Europe (CAE), the European Cultural Foundation (ECF), Europa Nostra, also in its capacity as coordinator of the European Heritage Alliance, and Bozar – the Centre for Fine Arts, are pleased to invite you to join the Annual Policy Conversation A Cultural Deal for Europe: Make culture central in the EU’s green and sustainable future, to be held in a hybrid format – Brussels and online – on 18 November 2021 from 15:00 to 18:00 CET.

Like in the two previous editions, the event will bring together Europe’s cultural scene and European policymakers to engage in a dialogue, to share ideas and develop together the way forward to put culture at the heart of the European project – because there is no Europe without culture.

This year’s event will focus on the contribution of culture and cultural heritage to Europe’s recovery, and to its green, more sustainable and inclusive future through the European Green Deal, the Conference on the Future of Europe and the New European Bauhaus, of which the three hosting organisations are official partners. The aim of this policy conversation is to inspire and engage the wider European community of artists, cultural workers, creative industries and heritage stakeholders in building a future that is more resilient and sustainable for Europe and its citizens.

To follow the debate live online, please register before 15 November. We will notify you once we are live!
