Europa Nostra Board and Awards Jury Meetings at Potsdam, Germany

The Board of Europa Nostra as well as the Jury of the European Heritage Awards / Europa Nostra Awards will meet from 21 to 23 March 2024 in Potsdam, at the new office of Europa Nostra Germany. On this occasion, Europa Nostra Germany will also hold its annual General Assembly.

Prof. Dr Ulrike Liedtke, President of the Brandenburg State Parliament, and Mike Schubert, Mayor of Potsdam, will host a Welcome Reception for the Board of Europa Nostra and the European Heritage Awards / Europa Nostra Awards Jury at the Landtag Brandenburg, on 22 March.

Jury members will meet to decide on the final selection of winners for the 2024 edition of the European Heritage Awards / Europa Nostra Awards. They will also have the opportunity to visit the civil society association Winzerberg e.V. in Potsdam, a winner of the Awards in 2018, in the category Conservation.

Board members will be offered a private guided tour of the spectacular historic rooms of the New Palace at Sanssouci by Christoph Vogtherr, Director of the Foundation of Prussian Palaces and Gardens, as well as a special cultural heritage tour through the New Gardens at Cecilienhof Palace (place of the Potsdam Conference 1945).
