This year’s Award winners of the Erasmus Student Network (ESN) “The Best of the Erasmus Generation” will be announced during a live-streamed ceremony on 5 May at 17:00 (CET). Awardees will then be given the floor to speak about their initiatives, share the knowledge gained and encourage the continuation of student-led projects.

The Erasmus Student Network (ESN) is one of the largest student associations in Europe and brings together a vast network of over 40,000 young people. ESN operates at the local, national and international level, working in the interest of international students through the support and development of student exchange.

Each year, ESN recognises and celebrates the fantastic work of its member organisations through the ESN Awards. Both local and national sections submit their varied initiatives, activities, events, projects, programmes and campaigns across 14 different categories. This year, Europa Nostra proudly took on the role of evaluating the ‘Culture’ category. With 33 unique submissions, the awards jury was made up of four Europa Nostra team members who were each thoroughly impressed by the unique initiatives presented before them. The evaluation process was a marvellous opportunity to hear about the unique, student-led initiatives taking place throughout Europe.
