European Sustainable Energy Week

The European Sustainable Energy Week (EUSEW) will take place from 11 June at 09:30 (CEST) to 13 June 2024, in the European Commission’s Charlemagne building and the Martin’s Brussels EU Hotel, in Brussels, and online.

The event will be divided into different plenary and policy sessions, as well as Energy Fair stands. With this year’s topic “Net-zero competitiveness driving EU energy transition,” the sessions will focus on delivering Europe’s decarbonisation through green technologies and solutions towards a fair and just transition for people and competitive businesses.

The Energy Fair will be a good opportunity to connect with other participants with shared interests. It will gather SMEs and start-ups, industry and professional associations, networks of national, regional and local authorities, consumer associations, citizens’ groups, youth associations and many more.

The EUSEW will also feature the 5th edition of the European Youth Energy Day. Through discussions and a closed-door session, young participants from 18 to 34 will get involved in debates on Europe’s sustainable energy transition.

Participants will also have the opportunity to attend the European Sustainable Energy Awards Ceremony on 11 June, from 10:30 to 11:30 (CEST). The EUSEW Awards recognise outstanding individuals and projects for their innovation and efforts in the field of energy efficiency and renewables. The online public vote was open until 2 June 2024.

In addition, a series of locally organised Sustainable Energy Days will take place from April to June, across Europe and beyond, to promote clean energy and energy efficiency.

Registration for the event is compulsory, and available on the EUSEW website.
