The Future of Cultural Heritage in Europe (El futuro del patrimonio cultural en Europa) by Hispania Nostra

Building on the values of the New European Bauhaus, the online event gives a voice to young professionals to propose the steps to follow in the creation of a new Europe, confronting current challenges such as the pandemic, climate change or social differences.

This conference is conceived as a forum where experts can give their opinion and debate. Likewise, it opens a space for the public, the “Laboratory of ideas” with which we give voice to all attendees interested in cultural heritage.

Through three roundtable discussions focusing on “Opportunities: the New European Bauhaus and the European Green Deal“, “Views across Europe” (in which Europa Nostra’s European Policy Coordinator Lorena Aldana will participate) and “New visions“, the event aims at answering the following questions:

1. How can the European Union better take into consideration the changes in people´s living and working conditions, by improving inclusiveness and respecting the principles of a greener and more sustainable society?
2. Which would be, in your view, the key priorities of the European Union for the Future?
3. What role do you think Cultural Heritage should play in the future shaping of our societies and in the future of the European Union overall?

The event will be mainly held in Spanish. For more information on the programme and registration, please visit this webpage.
