Young People & Europe’s Cultural Heritage: A roundtable discussion

Join Europa Nostra Young Members on Wednesday 4 August at 18:00 – 19:00 CEST, for the final virtual roundtable discussion of 2021 with Sara Crofts, Chair of Europa Nostra UK and Chief Executive of the Institute of Conservation (ICON) and Lorena Aldana, European Policy Coordinator at Europa Nostra.

Since September 2020, Europa Nostra UK have held seven virtual roundtable discussions, covering topics from Climate Change to Fundraising. As our final virtual roundtable of the year, we will be joined by Sara Crofts and Lorena Aldana to discuss what initiatives Europa Nostra have established to ensure young people have an active and valued voice in the conversations regarding Europe’s cultural heritage, and how they can continue to engage and support young people in Europe.

The roundtable will also include a discussion about career development in the field of European cultural heritage. Attendees will have the opportunity to ask Sara and Lorena any questions they might have about their career progression.

This event is an open, informal discussion, with the opportunity to network with other Young Members of Europa Nostra across Europe. We welcome all contributions and encourage you to have your microphone enabled so that you can join the discussions. This event is only for Europa Nostra Young Members. If you’re not a member yet, please sign up for the event and then submit your FREE member application. Free Europa Nostra membership is open to any person aged 18-33 who is interested in cultural heritage and wishes to support our mission to safeguard Europe’s cultural and natural heritage.
