The Best in Heritage Conference 2025 in Barcelona
After five digital editions, The Best in Heritage conference returns to the in-person format in 2025! Hosted in the vibrant and culturally rich city of Barcelona from 22 to 24 October, this eagerly awaited edition continues the conference’s tradition of showcasing award-winning museum, heritage, and conservation projects from around the world.
The 2025 edition is organised in partnership with La Caixa Foundation, the Government of Catalonia and the City Council of Barcelona. It is under the patronage of Europa Nostra (with the support of the Creative Europe Programme of the European Union) and the International Council of Museums (ICOM). Europa Nostra has been a partner of The Best in Heritage conference since 2009.
The conference in Barcelona will feature 42 outstanding presentations of national and international award winners from last year, including five laureates of the European Heritage Awards / Europa Nostra Awards 2024, namely:
